Sameer Ahmed Khan is the cofounder and CEO of Social Champ, a social media management platform used in 100+ countries with more than 91 million posts shipped. The platform is endorsed by Guy Kawasaki ("I use Pakistani product every day, it’s called Social Champ"), backed by the Oman Technology Fund, and was accelerated by Techstars Toronto in 2022. Cofounder Zohaib Ahmed Shakir coded the original prototype as a birthday gift to Sameer.
Born in Pakistan in 1990 and raised partly in Qatar, Sameer earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Karachi (1st in his class, 2nd overall). Before Social Champ he survived three failed startups (GameOChat, Educating Dreams, RemindZapp), funded by the consultancy he cofounded, OuzelSystems. His TEDx talk "The Power of Influence" (TEDxNUSTKarachi, 2017) and his trademark "Startup Survival Guide" keynote draw on those failures.
He has spoken at Web Summit Lisbon and Doha, Slush’D Karachi, Collision Conference Toronto, Techstars Demo Day, and across forty-plus events spanning Microsoft, Nokia, IEEE, USAID, and others. He mentors at Founder Institute Toronto and Techstars Mentor Madness, and previously led the Facebook Developer Circle in Karachi.
Beyond the boardroom, Sameer is a passionate spearfisher in the Arabian Sea. His YouTube channel earned a Silver Play Button (100K+ subscribers) in February 2026. He has visited 11 countries on a Pakistani passport and is an INFP who writes poems with dark openings and hopeful endings.
Sameer lives in Karachi with his family.
